Liability Damage Waiver

Cost:    $5.95/month on violins, violas, clarinets, flutes, trumpets, trombones and percussion kits

    $7.95/month on saxophones, cellos, bass, and other rentals

Restrictions

• Intentional damage or neglect is not covered by this liability damage waiver and is the responsibility of the customer.  Customer will be charged for repairs in cases where damage is considered intentional or neglect.
• Customer is responsible for chemical clean, regulating, replacing strings and bow hair.
• Account must be in good standing, current on all payments.

Conditions

• Waiver will be void if bow is kept tight between playing sessions; instrument is left in the car or in other unheated or hot spaces; damage is deemed neglectful, intentional; or contract is delinquent.  Humidity should be kept constant, as close to 30% as possible.
• Account must be current for Mountain Music to cover repairs.  If the account is delinquent, customer will be liable for all repair costs to the instrument and will be billed for repairs.

Inclusions

• Strings: seam repair, bridge adjustment and replacement (assuming no neglect), nut and fingerboard adjustments, bow repairs
• Winds: mouthpiece cleaning, adjustments, alignment and springs, pad replacement, stuck mouthpieces, slide and valve repairs, resolder
• 10% discount on chemical clean and regulation, Dominant strings, bow replacement or re-hair

NOTICE: THE PURCHASE OF THIS LIABILITY DAMAGE WAIVER IS NOT MANDATORY AND MAY BE DECLINED.  THIS CONTRACT OFFERS, FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE, A LIABILITY DAMAGE WAIVER TO COVER YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY.  BEFORE DECIDING WHETHER TO PURCHASE THE LIABILITY DAMAGE WAIVER, YOU MAY WISH TO DETERMINE WHETHER YOUR HOMEOWNER’S OR CASUALTY INSURANCE, IF ANY, AFFORDS YOU COVERAGE FOR DAMAGE TO THE RENTAL PROPERTY AND THE AMOUNT OF THE DEDUCTIBLE UNDER YOUR OWN INSURANCE COVERAGE.
